Community Champion Award Recipient: Vandhana Devi

There will never be enough time to recognize the incredible healthcare workers that support our community. They're usually behind the scenes, many times overworked, and could never be paid as much as they're worth. So, we embark on a journey to find them, thank them, recognize them, and share their great stories.

Our first round of nominations has come to a close and while there were many, we settled on Vandhana Devi (photo right). She is a nurse at Sunrise Senior Living and has served there for the past 14 years. Jamie Puentes (photo left) shared her story, commenting that she is an amazing nurse and devoted to helping others. She is always welcoming, bringing smiles to residents and their families.
