Community Champion Award Recipient: Stephanie Berger

There will never be enough time to recognize the incredible healthcare workers that support our community. They're usually behind the scenes, many times overworked, and could never be paid as much as they're worth. So, we embarked on a journey to find them, thank them, recognize them, and share their great stories.

Our second round of nominations has come to a close and while there were many, we settled on Stephanie Berger (photo left). She heads Silver Wishes, a local organization committed to letting seniors know that they matter and have a purpose. Stephanie and her team take nominations and grant wishes for our older adult community. Shirley Heritage (photo right) nominated Stephanie, commenting that “she is a dedicated leader that goes above and beyond to grant wishes, support her team, and bring joy to the community.”
